DELIVERY AND INSPECTION POLICY

1. Definitions

  • "We" and "us" refer to SimonSez Australia.

  • "You" and "your" refer to the customer.

  • "Unit" refers to the expandable container home.

2. Delivery and Inspection

2.1 We will deliver the Unit to your site within the metro area.

2.2 Our prices include initial setup of the Unit, excluding electrical and plumbing connections.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 You are responsible for:

  • Arranging connection to power, water, and sewer

  • Bearing associated costs for connections

  • Obtaining council approval prior to delivery (please check with your local council)

  • Connecting air conditioning units

3.2 You acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

4. Our Services

4     As part of our service, when your unit is delivered we will need to inspect the unit to ensure that there are no damages and that everything is present and accounted for.

This includes:

·        Opening and expanding the unit,

·        Taking an Inventory of Contents,

·        Ensuring the unit is sealed against the elements,

·        Ensuring your kitchen is in the correct position,

·        Ensuring all doors are in the correct position.

5. Additional Services for Expandable Container Homes Plus Models

For our Expandable Container Homes Plus models, also included is:

  • Inspection of the deck with roof to ensure that it is of the correct dimensions and in the correct position

6. Licensed Tradespeople Requirements

6.1 You acknowledge that the following licensed tradespeople must be used:

  • Electrician: for mains power connection, light fittings, power points, light switches, and final electrical certification

  • Plumber: for sewer mains connection (if required), water, and grey waste connections

  • Plumber/Electrician for installation of air conditioning unit

  • Gas Fitter: for gas fittings and appliance installations

7. Preferred Suppliers

7.1 We can provide a list of preferred suppliers, or you can use your own.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.

9. Entire Agreement

9.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
